ALFA and Friends Self-learning programme
This programme is part of ALFA and Friends Foundation initiatives to suppport children who do not have access to online courses during the pandemic. The spread of the Covid-19 virus, has dramatically changed the educational landscape in the country.
Teaching and learning are conducted virtually via various platforms. Educators and parents will do whatever they can to make sure that the childrens are not left out.
However for some children, learning virtually will be a little challenging due to various factors including internet access, devices and parent’s commitments.
According to United Nations International Children’s Emergency Fund (UNICEF) and the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) report on the impact of Covid-19 on low-income urban families, 21% of households are not engaged in home-based online learning, while 42% of households have no-equipment for e-learning.
As a company that believes every children deserved their rights for education, we want to make sure that these children are not left out during the lock down and continuously learning event though they are at home. To address this issue, we are pleased to invite your kindness to kickstart SPARK STEM Kits to help our future leader to continue learning even in difficult times.

How does the ALFA and Friends Self-learning Programme helps?
With your sponsorships, we assist in the delivery and distribution of ALFA and Friends SPARK STEM Kit box (self-learning programme) to the underprivileged and low-income urban families’ children. The SPARK STEM Kit box provides opportunities for underprivileged and low-income urban families’ children preparing themselves for the future job market by exposing them to wonders of the fields of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics
